A smart outcast makes friends for the first time when he goes away to boarding school. I enjoyed this story as I listened to it, but as much as I’m a sucker for boarding school stories, this piece was the forgettable kind of fun.

In the same way that I consider Showtime’s THE TUDORS a guilty pleasure, I liked this soapy novel on its entertaining merits. A bit more highbrow than your average supermarket romance, I admit that I’m looking forward to listening to more from this series.
